Support for Women’s Unacknowledged Losses,
Standing at Your Crossroads.
Therapy that Comes to Your Couch
in CT, FL, MA & ME
Tailored to Your Unique Experience.
Loss takes many forms and can cause pain and loneliness akin to grief. Disconnection and sadness take root the longer they go unacknowledged. Yet, when you’ve tried to talk about it, you’ve read the discomfort in your friend’s body language or you’ve registered the abrupt changes in conversation.
People have many ways of signaling their need for you to pretend like you’re “getting over it.” Drifting eye contact indicates a desire for you to admit “I’m better off,” and should just “move on.”
Afterall, no one died, right? So what’s the big deal?
Loss can still create devastation and that deserves care and attention. Grief comes in a lot of shapes and sizes, even when a person hasn’t died, right? Enough. Come take space for yourself where you can safely talk about how you’re actually feeling and thinking about how life has turned out, how it hurts and disappoints, and explore with a compassionate therapist what and where to go from here.
Do you feel an ache you can’t quite name & don’t feel you have permission to share?
Are you unsure of what to do & how to figure out your “what next?”
Now is the time and this is the place to be comforted with Counseling Connected. You deserve acknowledgement and support anytime you experience loss, including for:
Divorce and partnership loss
Friendship loss
Loss of health
Loss of fertility hopes
Postpartum doubts, loss and crisis
Severe disappointment in your choices
Loss of faith or worldview
And so many more…
Finding yourself at a crossroads, uncertain and stuck?
Whether expected or unplanned, life presents forks in the road. Sometimes, there’s no neon sign or brilliant rainbow gleaming over the path indicating the “right” choice, and you freeze. Sometimes, you don’t like any of your options or have fears about all of them. Even choosing between exciting possibilities can reveal a dilemma.
Questions loom:
“What if I make the wrong choice?”
“What if what’s lost outweighs what I gain?”
“How will my choice impact everyone else? Could I lose who I love?”
“Am I being selfish? Taking foolish risks?”
Staying put can offer predictability and familiarity, but at what cost to you? Ask yourself this:
How much longer will you pay it?
Perhaps you’re ready NOW and motivated to do something different and find out what’s possible. Finally, it’s your time. You’re turning your potential energy into kinetic, creative energy.
Either way, I’m ready to connect with you, to help you explore the possibilities and take bold action towards the life you want in this next phase.
